The International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) has published a new technical guide on the application of “CO2 as a Refrigerant,"

The guide written by Star Refrigeration's Andy Pearson, a well-known expert in the field of natural refrigeration applications and who has extensive experience in the use of carbon dioxide as a refrigerant, is for design and development engineers needing instruction and inspiration as well as non-technical experts seeking background information on specific related topics.

The first edition IIR guide highlights the application of CO2 refrigeration in supermarkets, industrial freezers, refrigerated transport, and cold stores as well as ice rinks, chillers, air conditioning systems, data centers and heat pumps.
